Temple University's Workforce Educating and Life-long Learning (WELL) Program is searching for Part-Time Literacy Instructor II! The WELL Literacy Instructor will provide basic adult education and literacy instruction in a workforce context to participants in the Workforce Education and Lifelong Learning (WELL) Program on the main campus, remotely through Zoom, and throughout the Philadelphia community as assigned. The WELL Program operates under the Lenfest Center for Community Workforce Partnerships (LCCWP). WELL literacy instructors may teach units of Reading, Writing, ESL, Math, or other subjects as assigned and are expected to be flexible regarding work hours and instructional content. The candidate should be knowledgeable of PDE standards, adult education, adult literacy principles and instructional standards and be able to develop curriculum and lesson plans, teach, motivate, and relate positively to adult learners; utilize instructional tools, resources and technologies effectively according to WELL policies and procedures. This position reports to the WELL Associate Director of Adult Education.
