About The Position

We’re currently looking for a Part-Time Nanny in Durham, NC (27713) A warm, loving family in the Parkwood neighborhood of South Durham (near Southpoint Mall) is seeking a reliable, experienced nanny to care for their 17-month-old daughter. This is a long-term position with guaranteed hours and a welcoming home environment. The ideal candidate has strong infant care experience and is looking to build a lasting relationship with a great family. Schedule: Flexible weekday availability preferred – 90% Tuesdays and Wednesday Core Days: Tuesday, Wednesday Hours: As early as 7:00 AM and as late as 6:00 PM, depending on the day Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Rate: $25 per hour Hours: Guaranteed 14 hours per week With the possibility of additional hours as needed 1 Child: 17 months old (at the start of care)

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience caring for infants under 1 year old
• Current CPR certification (infant and child) or willing to become certified
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background and social media check
• Must provide two references from paid, care-related positions
• Comfortable with pets — the family has a friendly cat (no pet care required)

Responsibilities

• Provide nurturing and attentive care for a 17-month-old toddler
• Engage in age-appropriate activities including walks and visits to nearby playgrounds
• Serving and supervision meals
• Maintain cleanliness of child-related areas (e.g. tidying play spaces, occasionally washing bottles, etc.)
• Foster a safe, stimulating environment for growth and development
