Part Time Parts Delivery Driver
About The Position
GreenMark Equipment LLC., a John Deere dealership network in Southwestern Michigan and Northern Indiana, has been providing sales and service to farmers, commercial business, large property owners and homeowners. If you answered YES, then we want YOU to apply! This is a great position for someone who looking to get out of the house a few days a week. Work 2-3 days per week, 5-8 hours per day, during peak season and 1-2 days during non-peak times Purpose This entry level driver provides excellent customer service through the safe and efficient delivery of parts to our customers using a company provided vehicle.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated basic understanding of the selling processes
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a degree of independence.
- Experience using standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet applications
- Valid driver’s license with a verifiable safe driving history
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to our customers
- Complete orders by pulling parts, preparing them for delivery and ensuring timely receipt
- Accurately loading & unloading product carefully to prevent damage
- Drives company vehicles in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner
- Responsible for cleanliness and standard maintenance of delivery vehicles as well as observing company safety procedures
- Assist in keeping parts department and vehicles clean and orderly
- Assist with warehouse receiving, cycle counts, Machine Down and Surplus Returns
- Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
- Routinely lifts items weighting up to 50 lbs
