Part-Time Research Assistant-Roberts Lab
About The Position
The Roberts Lab in the Department of Food Science is seeking to hire students for the following: Duties to include: Conduct organized research in the area of food processing/food microbiology Perform independent literature searches and prepare summaries of topics pertinent to ongoing and future research Prepare summaries of research projects conducted in the laboratory Conduct research under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI) leading to peer reviewed publication. Assist PI with grant preparation if required. Perform analytical procedures and protocols as directed Collect and analyze data from ongoing research projects at the Pilot Plants/laboratory. The activities at the Pilot Plants/Laboratory will include: Operate food processor equipment following the standard operating procedure Assist in product manufacturing for research trials Conduct other duties as assigned Applications will be received on an ongoing basis and will be reviewed as the need arises.
