About The Position

The Security Officer is responsible for providing security services at assigned locations with a focus on observing and reporting. Duties include monitoring and reporting all activity, conducting foot patrols, vehicular patrols, and responding to emergency situations requiring security assistance.

Requirements

• Steel-toed or composite shoes/boots.
• Security experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report all activity at assigned locations.
• Conduct foot patrols, vehicular patrols, and/or bicycle patrols.
• Write detailed narrative reports and maintain daily activity reports (DAR's).
• Enforce post orders, site rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Respond to emergency situations requiring security assistance.
• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property and monitoring surveillance equipment.
• Inspect buildings, equipment, and access points.
• Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities.
• Log inbound/outbound traffic and verify delivery paperwork.
• Provide direction and support to associates needing assistance with security matters.
• Conduct visual inspections of vehicles entering and leaving the facility.
