The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND. As a Part Time Student - Engine Application Engineering for JD Power Systems - Waterloo located in Waterloo, IA, you will: Support engine application engineers, including but not limited to: Building and maintaining project management tools including PowerBI reports and SharePoint sites. Support department logistics - facilitating worldwide part and engine shipments.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a four-year college degree in Engineering field; others may apply
  • Previous Experience / Classes related to technical drafting. Projects in Creo creating prints is a plus.
  • Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university.
  • Must be able to commute to the work location in Waterloo, IA on a daily basis
  • Available 16 - 20 hours/week during the academic year
  • Available 30 - 40 hours/week during the summer semester
  • Graduation date of Spring 2027 or later
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
  • Must be 18 years of age or older to apply
