As a Part Time Student - Experimental Parts Planner for John Deere Dubuque Works located in Dubuque, IA, you will:

Requirements

Working well in a team environment
Computer skills, specifically Microsoft Excel (v lookup, pivot tables, conditional formatting, etc.)
Effective communication, both verbally and written
Attention to detail & process oriented
Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or other business related fields.
Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
Available to work 16-20 hours/week during the academic year
Available to work 30-40 hours/week during the summer semester
Must be able to commute to the work location in Dubuque, IA on a daily basis year-round
Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university
Graduation date of December of 2027 or later

Nice To Haves

Experience working with SAP
Experience working with Tableau or PowerBI
Supply management, business, or logistics related work experience

Responsibilities

Monitor inventory at Dubuque & Davenport production factories and Parts Distribution Center to determine part availability to fulfill engineering part requests
Facilitate SAP Workplace task assignment for Purchase Order invoice blocks
Collaborate with experimental parts warehouse staff to confirm part arrival and engineering notification
Order manufactured parts from production factories according to engineering requests
