About The Position

The Janitor will maintain the cleanliness of the LNK Airport Terminal and other Lincoln Airport Authority facilities as assigned. Essential Functions Perform a variety of cleaning and disinfecting duties. Ensure all supplies and essentials are stocked. Follow safety procedures and guidelines. Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position. Other duties, tasks, and responsibilities may be assigned at any time. The physical demands described here represent those that the employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. A majority of the work will be performed indoors with the general public. The employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Specific vision abilities required such as close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Endure various work environment factors including climatic temperature extremes such as cold, hot, wet, and/or humid conditions; and moving mechanical parts/equipment.
Adherence to standards established in the LAA Employee Handbook, Airport Rules and Regulations, Standard Operating Procedures, and all other established safety requirements applicable to the position is required.
The employee must be at least 18 years of age.
Successful completion of pre-employment reference check, criminal history check (required by the Transportation Security Administration), physical assessment, drug screening, MVR (motor vehicle report), and other requirements as per Lincoln Airport Authority policy.
The employee must possess, when hired, and maintain a valid State of Nebraska driver’s license while employed, and be insurable under normal rates.
