About The Position

In Touch Ministries is looking for a highly compassionate, organized, and skilled individual to join the Partner Distribution Department. The Partner Distribution Specialist is responsible for warehouse operations and activities. Warehouse Worker responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing, and scanning orders. The goal is to increase efficiency and partner satisfaction. This role demands a working knowledge of customer service practices while exhibiting a flexible mindset all the while making excellence the standard.

Requirements

• 1-2 years’ customer service and/or warehousing and manual labor experience with a minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
• Proven working experience as a Warehouse Worker
• Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects (50 lb)
• Ability to complete “Team-lifts” for heavy objects (more than 50lbs)
• Basic computer literacy (spreadsheets, emails, shipping software etc.)
• Able to operate forklift/reach truck machinery after proper certifications and training
• Able to operate both manual and electric pallet jacks regularly
• Balances team and individual responsibilities.
• Work well in team environment
• Gives and welcomes feedback
• Actively contributes to building and maintaining group goals and confidence.
• Ability to remain professional and courteous
• Can work independently and with other in fast pace environment

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
• Always adhere to any safety/workplace regulations
• Report any discrepancies
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Operate and maintain preventively any warehouse equipment
• Follow quality service standards and comply with PDS procedures
