About The Position

We are seeking a talented individual to join our US Health team at Mercer, a Marsh people business. This role will be based in Atlanta. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As a Partner in US Health, you will lead large and complex client engagements, managing overall service delivery, strategy, financial evaluations, plan design, renewals, business placement, benchmarking, and other studies. You will drive the development of sophisticated benefits design and renewal strategies, create tools and solutions to address complex client issues, and set the strategic direction for new products and services in the marketplace. Requirements

  • Proven experience leading complex client engagements in the health benefits space.
  • Strong strategic thinking and financial evaluation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate revenue and manage profitability.
  • Excellent leadership and team development capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead large and jumbo, complex client engagements, overseeing service delivery and strategy.
  • Manage benefits design and renewal strategies, developing innovative tools and solutions.
  • Determine the full scope of services for clients and assign roles and responsibilities within the client team.
  • Be accountable for revenue and profitability of client accounts and projects.
  • Generate sales by expanding revenues from existing clients and leading prospecting efforts with new clients.
  • Set strategic direction and lead successful regional or national marketing initiatives.
  • Leverage the company’s size and reputation to negotiate competitive rates and coverage options from carriers and vendors.
  • Delegate effectively and provide mentoring and coaching to direct reports and project team members.
