About The Position

The Partnership Development and Support Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and implementation of dual enrollment programs, with a strong emphasis on collaborations within K–12 school systems. This role ensures that partnerships with school districts operate efficiently and effectively, aligning program delivery with institutional standards and supporting seamless secondary-to-postsecondary pathways. The coordinator serves as the primary liaison between Harrisburg University and its K–12 education partners, coordinating outreach, enrollment, course delivery, and student support functions. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to navigate K–12 structures and workflows, and exceptional communication to support program logistics, stakeholder engagement, and cross‑departmental coordination.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, degree in Education, Public Administration or a related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working directly within K–12 school systems—such as school district offices, secondary schools, or programs supporting high school students—is strongly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and support fast‑paced program operations.
  • Experience in program coordination, project management, academic administration, or related roles

Responsibilities

  • Manage the implementation and daily operations of dual enrollment programs across multiple partner schools, ensuring high‑quality execution and consistency.
  • Contribute to the development, refinement, and management of internal processes that promote program efficiency, scalability, and cross‑department collaboration.
  • Apply knowledge of K–12 environments, calendars, and operational norms to streamline program delivery and support school district needs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for K–12 school district partners, administrators, counselors, faculty, and students.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with district and school‑level staff to ensure program expectations are understood and met.
  • Respond to partner needs, provide timely support, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance collaboration and service quality.
  • Oversee program logistics including course scheduling, registration processes, rosters, and data accuracy across participating schools.
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as Admissions, Registrar, Undergraduate Programs, and Academic Affairs to ensure smooth program execution.
  • Troubleshoot operational challenges and provide timely solutions aligned with both HU policies and school district procedures.
  • Collect, maintain, and analyze program data, including enrollment trends, student performance, and school‑level engagement metrics.
  • Prepare reports that inform planning, resource allocation, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Use data insights to support school partners and guide strategic decision‑making.
  • Lead the development and implementation of outreach programming, events, and activities designed to engage secondary students and promote academic pathways leading to HU.
  • Work collaboratively with faculty, external partners, Admissions, and student‑facing departments to develop experiences that are engaging, developmentally appropriate, and responsive to K–12 needs.
  • Support the design and communication of academic pathways that help students bridge the transition from high school to college programs.
  • Ensure all dual enrollment programs adhere to institutional policies as well as state and federal regulations governing K–12 partnerships and academic standards.
  • Maintain documentation and compliance records aligned with accreditation requirements and school district processes.
  • Support ongoing quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Apply full effort and capability to designated tasks and responsibilities.
  • Communicate proactively with managers regarding challenges, conflicts, or opportunities for improvement.
  • Demonstrate understanding and embodiment of the university’s cultural values, ethics, and commitment to student success.
