The position involves answering and processing incoming parts calls from customers and service technicians, pulling orders, receiving and putting up stock, and ordering parts while developing relationships with Crown factory and outside vendors. The role is crucial in enhancing customer retention by monitoring customer satisfaction with parts support and responding to customer concerns and requests. Additionally, the candidate will maintain direct contact with current and prospective customers, prepare customer quotes, process paperwork, and manage inventory control, including cycle counts of stockroom, vans, and customer consignments.
