About The Position
The overall function of this job is to assist customers inside the parts department directly or with phone orders and enter orders into computer.
Requirements
- General computer and word processing experience is highly regarded
- Customer service experience
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are required
- Ability to work independently without continuous direction or supervision
- Driver's License
Responsibilities
- Wait on customers, filling orders, requisitioning parts or supplying information as necessary
- Unpack, log, and prioritize any returns
- Check in freight and UPS orders
- Receive items into inventory
- Put-up freight and UPS orders
- Put-up and load customers’ orders
- Accurately package, label and stock inventory items
- Use the computer to process receiving
- Assist with inventory control
- Load trucks in the yard
- Provide excellent customer service to our customers over the phone and in-person
- Complete other tasks as assigned by parts department staff.
