Requirements

  • Previous experience as a counterman or in an automotive parts role.
  • Strong product knowledge and understanding of automotive parts and inventory systems.
  • Ability to step into a leadership role and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • A self-motivated, results-driven individual with a passion for customer service.
  • Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check, and a pre-employment drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with dealership management systems (DMS) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage the parts department's daily operations.
  • Maintain inventory levels, ensuring timely restocking and efficient storage.
  • Collaborate with service technicians, sales staff, and customers to ensure parts needs are met.
  • Manage customer inquiries and order fulfillment.
  • Provide leadership and training to the parts department team members.
  • Ensure the department meets sales and operational goals.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe parts area.
