We are hiring a highly energetic parts person to conduct part sales for Industrial and General-Purpose Engines. This person will be very well-spoken and have an exciting personality. The primary function of a Parts Specialist is to assist our core customer base by selling parts to both Factory (OEM) and Dealer types who need parts to maintain and service down equipment. This same individual will also be directly responsible for searching for new business opportunities and selling service parts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Efficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to comprehend engine schematics and part identification drawings
• Energetic with a passion for a career
• Maintain a professional appearance at the office and when conducting company business away from the office
• Ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment
• Team orientated

Responsibilities

• Assist dealers in selecting required parts and suggest complementary or additional parts needed via phone calls, walk-ins, online ordering, emails, etc.
• Efficiently enter orders that are received via email, phone, etc. into the AIE computer system (Epicor) and provide customers with written order (sales order) confirmation.
• Resolve customer disputes (pricing, counts, damage, etc.) as necessary
• Promote the use of original equipment parts
• Pull purchased parts from the shelf and help package shipment for common carrier
• Assist the Engine Sales Team with part requests and fulfillment
• Assist Warehouse Specialist with restocking shelves and maintaining part bins as necessary
• Assist with weekly cycle counts
• Help identify swings in the market and analyze on-hand inventory totals
