About The Position

Join Henderson Products Inc., located in Huntley, IL! We are the North American leader in the design, manufacture and up fit of multi-purpose equipment for heavy-duty work trucks specializing in snow and ice control and Keeping Americas Roads Safe! NIGHT SHIFT - Newly created shift, hours to be determined, training to occur on day shift. HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE: This is a full-time position responsible for providing support to the Installation Technicians on the shop floor through researching, procuring, and distributing production parts and equipment. The Parts Utility role is an essential part of supplying the proper parts, in a timely manner, through research and documentation to ensure a consistent flow of trucks through the shop. This position also satisfies customer parts orders, both from our factory and directly from the customer. Receive and put away inventory by confirming quantities, part numbers, and condition against purchase orders demonstrating accuracy and accountability in every transaction. Label all parts and assign/confirm bin locations before storage, applying careful attention to detail to prevent downstream errors in the parts room or yard. Use powered equipment to unload and store inventory on 1 to 3 levels of racking, following safety procedures and exercising sound judgment around equipment operation. Move and store large municipal truck attachments (plows, dump bodies, spreaders) using appropriate powered equipment and rigging, recognizing when to ask for guidance before proceeding. Operate outside in inclement weather while maintaining safety, focus, and consistent productivity demonstrating reliability and personal discipline regardless of conditions. Release shop orders, print shop paperwork, create clipboards, and pull/issue parts to build job carts, managing time effectively to keep pace with production schedules. Ship material (parcel and LTL) using prescribed systems, completing all required documentation with accuracy and without prompting. Respond to inventory requests from the shop floor in a timely manner, communicating clearly about availability, location, or delays. Perform cycle counts and basic inventory audits as assigned, documenting discrepancies honestly and flagging concerns through the right channels.

Requirements

  • Technological skills required with knowledge of Hendersons TCM software (ERP), Micro-tool (Web Based), 6-week forecast (Excel), and Microsoft Office products.
  • Organizational, detail, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong team player.
  • Must be able to operate a lift truck confidently
