About The Position

You will work onsite at Conagra Brands - Home of Vlasic brand located in Imlay City, Michigan. Ther vacancy is on our afternoon shift for a Pasteurizer Operator. You will report to Production Lead and Team Lead. You will work independently but will collaborate with our Quality team to ensure our products meet our quality standards. You will earn $21.87/hr. plus $0.25/hr. shift premium. Your schedule will be from 2:00 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. When production demand increases and overtime is scheduled, adjusted later schedule and weekends during peak demand. WHAT WILL YOU DO: The Pasteurizer Operator runs the Pasteurizer, which heats and cools products to specified temperatures and hold times. The operator performs required temperature checks at designated intervals.

Responsibilities

• Operate required machinery and equipment and ensure that it is functioning.
• Use required computer software programs and report any issues with functionality.
• Complete all job tasks observing the standard work instructions.
• Ensure all documentation is completed and maintained, neatly, and legibly.
• Demonstrate a willingness to take on additional job responsibilities.
• Remain productive and meet the requirements of the job.
• Train employees on job specific tasks following safe, quality work methods and standards.
• Maintain up-to-date Lock Out Tag Out certification.
• Perform quality checks specific to the operation.
• Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety.
• Inspect workstation(s) to ensure all equipment is in safe working condition.
• Follow safe work practices and GMP's, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained following company policy.
