About The Position

As our Pastry Chef, you’ll oversee all pastry and dessert production for the Club, including a variety of events, buffets, and receptions. This role supervises bakery team members, manages inventory and cost controls, and ensures the highest standards of quality and sanitation.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (culinary education or equivalent experience preferred)
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
  • Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus
  • Must be able to taste, smell, and visually inspect food to maintain quality

Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and manage all pastry staff
  • Plan and execute creative and seasonal pastry menus
  • Oversee dessert presentation for buffets and plated events
  • Ensure sanitation standards are met at all times
  • Develop and test recipes for consistent excellence
  • Manage bakery budget, purchasing, and cost controls
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary leadership on event planning
  • Prepare all types of pastries, baked goods, fillings, desserts, and decorations
