Requirements

  • Creativity in designing unique desserts and new flavor combinations.
  • Attention to detail: Meticulous in measuring ingredients and perfecting presentations.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work well with other staff.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and accept criticism.
  • Able to lift, push, carry 20 - 40 lbs.
  • Stand continuously for long periods of time.
  • Lift, pull, push, bend, and move items to support the hotel and outlets

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Bake a wide variety of goods, such as cakes, cookies, pies, pastries, and breads, following both traditional and new recipes.
  • Decorate desserts with frostings, glazes, and toppings to create visually appealing presentations.
  • Contribute ideas for new dishes and create custom desserts.
  • Check and order ingredients and supplies for the pastry section.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic work area and manage kitchen staff.
  • Keep accurate records of food costs and inventory.
