The Department of Pathology at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton (BID-Milton) is seeking a full-time Pathologist. Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton is a nonprofit, 100-bed community hospital that brings advanced, academic-level expertise to a community setting, offering patients high-quality care close to home. It is characterized by an exceptional and collegial working environment. The hospital is affiliated with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians, and Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH), one of the largest healthcare systems in Massachusetts. Job responsibilities include providing diagnostic pathology services, with a focus on breast pathology, gastrointestinal (GI), genitourinary (GU), and gynecologic (GYN) pathology. The position involves interpretation of surgical pathology and clinical laboratory coverage to support the care of patients across a range of medical and surgical specialties. The ideal candidate will be board-certified or board-eligible in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology with subspecialty expertise or strong interest in breast pathology, GI, GU, or GYN. A commitment to diagnostic excellence and collaboration is essential. This position is primarily located at BID-Milton but occasional coverage at BID-Needham may be required. Call coverage is divided among pathologists from both Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham and Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton. There are no cytology or autopsy services.
