Patient Access Representative Possesses a positive attitude at work, respects others, shows personal accountability and provides good customer service working the front desk. Demonstrates good communication skills when speaking to anyone in person or over the phone, either to patients, co-workers or other hospital departments. Greets all patients and family members promptly and courteously. C onsistently asks for the appropriate items from either outpatients or PAT patients that are needed for registration. Knowledgeable of insurance carriers or lab tests that do not cover or cannot be drawn at the PPEC . Provides the appropriate information to patients if their insurance carrier has contract with non-AH labs. Answers calls to front desk. Keeps log of walk-in PAT patients and lab/x-ray outpatients. Assists with preparing the patients' charts and calls surgeons' offices for missing/incorrect/outdated patient information need for surgery. Schedule: Full time, Days 7am – 3pm Schedule: Full time, Days 7am – 3pm
