The Patient Access Specialist - Site Based role in St. Paul is a fulltime, 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week). The schedule is 9:00am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday. This position is based at the main St. Paul hospital location. The schedule for the first 4-6 weeks is 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday, for onboarding and training. This site-based position provides exceptional patient experience and access for patients and families within Gillette clinic settings. Promotes and maintains excellent and positive patient and family experience as the first impression of the organization. Patient Check-In: Primary point of contact for patients and families arriving to Gillette clinics. Obtains, updates and verifies all patient demographic and financial information. Obtains required signatures on consent and other intake forms. Appointment Scheduling: Schedules appointments across all medical specialties and integrative care services timely, efficiently, and in alignment with the patient’s unique needs and care plan. Patient Experience: Connects patient and families with on-site amenities and assists in clinic navigation for an optimal patient experience. Patient Engagement: Promotes and enrolls patients and their caregivers in our appointment reminder system and MyGillette patient portal to increase ways in which families can engage with their care. Thoroughly explains functionalities available. Compensation & Benefits: The hourly wage for this opportunity is $21.00/hour to $30.27/hour, with a median wage of $25.22/hour. Pay is dependent on several factors including relevant work experience, education, certification & licensure, and internal equity.
