About The Position

Referral Specialist initiates a variety of external and internal referral processing and skilled clerical duties in support of the PMG physician offices. Communicate with internal and external medical offices and insurance companies to ensure provider referral requests are processed timely and accurately. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes team concept and reflects the mission and values of Providence Health & Services. Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they’re invaluable. Requirements

• 1 year experience in the medical field.
• 1 year of Electronic Medical Record experience.
• 1 year of Referral processing experience.
