About The Position

Patient Care Extern, under the supervision of licensed/certified clinical staff, provides care to patients, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy.

Requirements

• A student currently enrolled in High school as a junior or senior Required
• Current High school senior or junior student Required
• Current High School junior or senior student Required
• No experience required Required
• Experience is desirable but not essential. On-the-job training will be provided Required

• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant or certification from a Patient Care Tech program for working in the Phlebotomist role Upon Hire Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
• Certification from a Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Tech program for working in the Phlebotomist role Required
