About The Position

ATHENS, GA Pulmonary Dept. Full time Days 7am-7pm The expanding Pulmonary Unit works closely with hospitalists, pulmonologists and respiratory therapists to provide top-notch care for patients with acute and chronic respiratory issues. Responsibilities The Patient Care Tech, under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy. Patient ratios are determined by various factors, including volume and acuity of patient needs. Extenuating circumstances may determine a need for lower or higher ratios

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
• No experience required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of patient care experience Preferred
• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred
• Certification from a Patient Care Technician program Preferred
