About The Position

Piedmont Walton’s Emergency Department is a fast-paced, high-acuity environment serving patients of all ages as a Level III Trauma Center. With 15 treatment rooms and a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, our team is committed to providing high-quality, timely care while emphasizing strong prioritization, teamwork, and professionalism. Responsibilities The Patient Care Tech, under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy.

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
• No experience required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of patient care experience Preferred
• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred
• Certification from a Patient Care Technician program Preferred
