About The Position

This is a full time float Patient Care Technician. This position will be required to float to clinics in the area as needed. This position requires a PCT that is a Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT). DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT, you’ll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

Requirements

• Accredited High School diploma, general education development (“GED”) credential, or equivalent
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
• Willing to float between local clinics is required
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must have CCHT (Certified clinical hemodialysis certificate).

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
• Record vital signs and patient data
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members
