Job Description Summary The Patient Care Technician (PCT) Trainer is responsible for onboarding, precepting, and training new PCT hires to the innovation center in which they work. Collaborates with the unit leadership and nursing education to oversee integrating new PCTS into the unit team and ongoing educational needs. Works with Innovation Center staff to develop strategies for implementation of ""best practices"" and grow opportunities for core staff with in the unit. Assists in the identification of educational needs of clinical staff within the innovation centers. The Patient Care Technician (PCT) Trainer also provides basic daily care to patients and support of significant others. Performs various service duties and routine technical tasks such as assisting patients with basic hygiene and daily living activities. Maintains patient care areas in a clean and orderly condition. Provides nursing care, which is appropriate for the age and development of the patient.
