Our Pediatric Specialty Clinic is looking for a patient care technician to join the team and support our rheumatology, nephrology and infectious disease departments! The patient care tech will obtain vitals, height and weight and other necessary information to prepare the patient for their visit. These specialty departments see patients with diagnosis such as lupus, childhood arthritis, chronic kidney disease, infections and other conditions. Our patient care techs, along with our pediatric specialists, go to several outreach clinics throughout the region, allowing for increased access to the individualized care that is essential to their health and wellness. This is a great opportunity to work in a clinic setting with a variety of patients! We are open Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, no weekends or holidays. The Patient Care Technician (PCT) performs basic patient care services and supports activities within ambulatory services. Patient Care Technicians are multi-skilled to provide expanded services under the direct supervision of a licensed clinical professional. Whether you're seasoned in the field or just starting out, we welcome patient care technicians of all experience levels. We are seeking a self-motivated, independent and compassionate individual to help serve our patients. Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment while managing various tasks is required.
