In addition to diagnosing and treating illness, we also provide preventive care, including routine checkups, health-risk assessments, immunization and screening tests, and guidance for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. As a Patient Financial Service Representative at our Torrington Clinic, you will assist the clinic with prior authorizations, insurance coordination, and interacting with insurance companies, and working hand in hand with our customer contact center to ensure seamless communication for the patients and their scheduling need. Provides patients, patient families and medical staff customers with high quality service experiences. POSITION SUMMARY This position coordinates a smooth patient flow process by answering phones, scheduling patient appointments, providing registration of patient and insurance information, obtaining required signatures following established processes, procedures and standards. This position also verifies insurance coverage, validates referrals and authorizations, collects patient liability and provides financial guidance to patients to maximize medical services reimbursement efforts. This also includes accurately posting patients at the point of service and releasing information in accordance with organizational and compliance policies and guidelines.
