About The Position

This role is ideal for organized, detail-oriented professionals who enjoy fast-paced healthcare coordination and consistent full-time hours. NOA Diagnostics is hiring a Patient Intake Coordinator to support mobile diagnostic imaging services. This office-based position serves as the first point of contact for patients and care facilities, coordinating imaging services for skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and home-based care across CT, NJ, and NY.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
  • Clear, professional communication and strong phone etiquette
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a medical office, call center, or healthcare intake role
  • Familiarity with insurance verification or patient scheduling
  • Healthcare administrative experience

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for incoming patient exam requests
  • Intake and verify patient demographic and insurance information
  • Schedule imaging exams for mobile field staff
  • Receive, review, and process faxed and electronic physician orders
  • Accurately enter patient orders into internal systems
  • Track exam completion and manage required documentation
  • Provide administrative support
