Explore this opportunity: Patient Registrar – Outpatient Rehab | Full-Time 163-03 Horace Harding Expressway, 2nd Floor 11:00 am - 7:00 pm Register patients for various procedures and appointments, taking pride in going above and beyond to help others. In this role, you will collect demographic details and insurance information, including pre-certifications and authorizations, while ensuring accurate scheduling. You will serve as a calm and reassuring presence for patients as they navigate their hospital experience.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least one year of clerical experience
- Computer skills
- Exceptional customer services skills
- All roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
Nice To Haves
- Some college course work completed
- Familiarity with health insurance requirements and clinical coding
