About The Position
As a member of the Morongo Basin Healthcare District (MBHD) team your mission is to improve the health and wellness of the communities we serve. In your role as Patient Registration Clerk you will report to Patient Access Manager.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 6 months of experience in customer service, healthcare experience, insurance verification
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
Nice To Haves
- Experience with electronic medical records programs preferred
Responsibilities
- Greeting and registering patients
- Completing paperwork
- Answering telephones
- Collecting co-pays
- Scheduling appointments for patients
- Performing general office functions as needed
