About The Position

As part of our Patient Registration team in the Urgent Injury Clinic, you will be responsible for greeting patients upon arrival, the check in process and answering phones. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment and maintaining confidential communication with our patients. You are passionate about providing an outstanding patient experience for individuals visiting our Urgent Injury Clinic. This position is located at our Norwalk clinic, opening summer 2026. Our Norwalk Urgent Injury Clinic hours are Monday - Thursday 10am-6pm, Friday 10am-5pm and Saturday 8-12pm. Here's what you can expect: Assisting patients with the check-in process for our Urgent Injury Clinic. This may include gather demographics, insurance information and basic understanding of their injury. Communicating with patients that may not be pleasant at times, yet are grateful for our guidance and assistance in getting them back to living. Majority of communication will occur in-person, yet will also occur via the phone. You may be sitting at a desk for extended periods of time that may seem unnatural. Opportunity to work within a team amongst the registration staff and clinical staff members to ensure patients receive quality care. What We're Looking For: Calm and curious. Ability to communicate calmly with patients with a warm and professional attitude, while being curious, utilizing listening skills, asking clarifying questions and avoiding interrupting patients. Multi-tasker. Ability to check in patients, obtain necessary information and answer phones while staying organized. Reliability.
