Growing together. Position in this function provides real-time remote documentation support to physicians and advanced practice providers during patient encounters. Accurately transcribe medical histories, review of systems, physical exams, assessments, and treatment plans into electronic health records, allowing providers to focus on patient care. Ensure documentation is complete, compliant, and timely while maintaining strict patient confidentiality and HIPAA standards. This role requires solid medical terminology knowledge, excellent listening and typing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Medical Knowledge - Solid understanding of medical terminology
  • All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, biology, health sciences, or a related field
