About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Services Assistant (PSA) to join our fast-paced and supportive team. In this position, you will work across our Endoscopy Unit, supporting both the health care and hospital support teams. You will play an important part in ensuring patient comfort, safety, and smooth hospital operations. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a Certificate III in Aged Care or Health Services who is ready to make a difference in patient care.

Requirements

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Health Services, or Care Support (desirable).
• Experience working in a clinical hospital setting.
• Strong understanding of infection control, manual handling, and hospital safety procedures.
• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
• Provide or complete a National Police Check (conducted within the last 12 months)
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.

Nice To Haves

• Currently studying Nursing (Year 2 or 3).
• Certificate IV in Health Services Assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinical staff in providing high-quality care and patient support.
• Provide transport services using hospital-approved equipment and vehicles.
• Assist patients on admission and help them settle comfortably.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient rooms and shared areas in line with infection control standards.
• Support Endoscopy staff with non-clinical tasks while prioritising effectively in a high-pressure environment.
