About The Position
Patient Services Representative (Medical Receptionist) Location: Pleasanton, CA Pay Rate: $25.00 to $30.00 DOE About Berman Skin Institute Founded by board-certified dermatologist Dr. David Berman, BSI provides medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology across Northern California. Requirements
- 2+ year customer service or medical office experience preferred
- Friendly, professional, and dependable
- Strong multitasking and computer skills
- High school diploma required
- Available for occasional Saturdays

- Comfortable in a busy environment
- Interest in healthcare, dermatology, or aesthetics a plus
Responsibilities
- Welcome and check in patients
- Answer phones and assist with questions
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Educate patients on services and next steps
- Verify insurance eligibility
- Update patient demographics
- Collect copays and process payments
- Document visits in EMR
- Work closely with medical assistants and providers
- Help keep clinic flow organized and on time
- Prepare patients for visits when needed
