By providing patients and internal and external stakeholders with a consistent, efficient, and easy experience, you’ll help ensure that patients at The Oregon Clinic Gastroenterology East Clinic receive the highest value care tailored to their needs. Using excellent customer service and communications skills, your primary duties in this role include: Scheduling appointments for new and established patients in an efficient and timely manner. Obtaining and completing insurance information. Answering phones. Providing coverage for our medical records and front desk teams. Obtaining and completing insurance information. Updating records as needed. Other duties as assigned. This position is currently phone-based but may require scheduling patients in the office and is very high volume; therefore, excellent customer service skills and communication skills are required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one (1) year work experience, preferably in a medical office is strongly preferred.
  • Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask.
  • Excellent attendance and work ethic.
  • Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians and other team members.
  • A commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety.

Nice To Haves

  • Specialty care GI experience is a plus!
  • Epic experience is a super plus!
