About The Position

Responsible for performing tasks related to the transport of patients and indirect patient care. This position ensures the effective delivery of necessary supplies and items for continuous patient care and facilitates patient movement across multiple departments.

Requirements

• High School Grad or Equiv
• Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Performs safe and timely transport of patients interdepartmentally and upon discharge.
• Conducts rounds for the delivery and pickup of supplies, records, specimens, x-rays, orders, and equipment.
• Promptly responds to stat calls and meets requests of clinical staff.
• Assists in handling calls regarding violent patients and supports in take down procedures.
