About The Position

Hello, thank you for applying to HHS, LLC We are looking for a seasoned patient escort to join our Transport Department at Unity Hospital. Wage: $17.00/hr All Shifts (Weekends Mandatory) Day/Evening/Night shifts available Here is the address below: Location: Unity Hospital, 1555 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14626 US- ASK FOR EVS. INSTRUCTIONS WHEN YOU ARRIVE: Park in the garage in area G and use the main entrance. We will then meet by the coffee shop area. Dress code: No jeans/Shirts with holes, no headphones, etc. Please bring ID and SSN. We’re looking for friendly, compassionate, team players to join our patient transport team! Transport patients and patient equipment throughout the hospital. Provide excellent service for every patient to support a safe and comfortable healing environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform
• CPR certified (American Heart Association), or required to obtain certification with HHS
• GED or high school diploma
• Applicants must pass a background check, drug screen, and provide proof of employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Many healthcare facilities require employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved exemption in place.

Nice To Haves

• Patient transportation experience (cleaning, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, healthcare, patient care, equipment maintenance)

Responsibilities

• Transport patients in wheelchairs, hospital beds, or on stretchers
• Work as a team with nursing, medical staff, and other hospital departments to achieve excellent patient satisfaction
• Practice cooperation, patience, excellent communication, and a willingness to work as a team
• Clean and disinfect patient transport equipment to ensure patient safety
• Follow all HHS and regulatory procedures and best practices
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
