About The Position

Summary of Job: The Payables Specialist is responsible for providing financial, administrative, and clerical services to ensure effective, efficient, and accurate financial and administrative operations. This includes reviewing and reconciling invoices, obtaining any necessary approvals and initiating processing and monitoring payments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance, preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in accounts payable
  • 3+ years of experience using financial/accounting software packages, a plus (MediusFlow, Microsoft D365, Microsoft Office Suite, as well as other applications as needed)
  • Self-motivated, takes personal accountability for a high level of performance and enjoys a high-volume environment with an ability to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrates strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Acute attention to detail and emphasis on accuracy with strong organization skills
  • Exhibits strong team building and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent accounting and computational skills
  • Professional demeanor
