About The Position

As a Payments Account Executive, you'll be the driving force behind one of our biggest growth opportunities: Payments. You'll turn qualified opportunities into new payments customers and expand adoption within our customer base. You don’t just carry a number; you’ll build a book of business. You own the deal journey—from discovery and demo, through pricing and close—while consistently hitting monthly targets. You’ll partner with our SDR team and also build a portion of your own pipeline through strategic, outbound prospecting. This is a high-impact role where your wins help practices modernize their payments, grow their business, and elevate the patient experience.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of SaaS and/or payments sales experience in a closing role (merchant services, fintech, or similar)
  • A "hunter” mindset who excels in generating self-sourced leads
  • Proven, consistent quota attainment
  • Fluency in merchant statements and knowledge of pricing methods
  • Salesforce CRM proficiency with disciplined pipeline management
  • Sharp verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management and prioritization

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of payments or SaaS sales experience
  • Dental or dental software industry experience
  • Demonstrated quota attainment in a self-sourcing environment
  • Expert-level command of merchant pricing and margin analysis
  • You’re curious, take the initiative, and thrive in self-directed environments

Responsibilities

  • Unlock New Revenue: Your primary hunting ground is our existing customer base — practices already using Dental Intel who haven't yet tapped into the full power of integrated payments, and payment customers leaving revenue on the table with partial adoption. You'll identify those gaps, build the case, and close them.
  • Build Pipeline That Converts: You don’t wait for leads – you create them. You'll partner with SDRs and run your own targeted outbound motion to build a pipeline that's qualified, consistent, and closing.
  • Go Above and Beyond: We set ambitious targets because we hire people who are wired to exceed them. You’ll consistently meet and exceed monthly quota through strong deal execution, disciplined follow-up, and a focus on high-intent opportunities within our install base.
  • Own the Deal Journey: You'll guide opportunities from discovery to close, demoing value, overcoming objections, and closing confidently
  • Set Your Deals Up to Win: You’ll own the handoff experience – position every new account for a seamless activation and drive early adoption for immediate recurring revenue.
