About The Position

Fink's Jewelers is seeking a full-time Payroll Administrative Assistant to join our Corporate Headquarters team located in Roanoke, VA. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining employee personnel records, and supporting daily administrative functions within Human Resources. About Fink's Jewelers In 1930, Nathan Fink founded Fink's Jewelers. Today, our company is owned and operated by the third and fourth generation of the founding family, with customer service remaining the cornerstone of our philosophy. From the first store in Roanoke, Virginia, Fink's Jewelers has now grown to include twelve locations throughout Virginia, North Carolina, and Tennessee.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Payroll Administrator, Payroll Clerk, or similar role
Strong knowledge of payroll processes, labor laws, and tax regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and other computer-based programs, and 10-key calculator; experience with Dominion Payroll software is a plus
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
Professional appearance and demeanor

Responsibilities

Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees with accuracy and timeliness
Maintain payroll records and employee data in compliance with company policies and regulations
Responding to payroll-related inquiries and resolving discrepancies
Prepare reports for management, finance, and HR as needed
Reconcile daily store deposits
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
Preform additional duties as assigned by the Human Resources Manager
