HR Works is partnering with a growing Rochester‑area organization to hire a Payroll & Benefits Specialist. This role manages key payroll, benefits, and compensation support activities while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a strong employee experience. The ideal candidate brings hands‑on payroll expertise, strong HRIS/ADP skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
• Strong payroll/benefits background
• ADP experience preferred
• CPP strongly preferred
• Solid knowledge of ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and wage/hour regulations

Responsibilities

• Payroll processing, reporting, and compliance
• Benefits administration and leave management
• Compensation support and annual cycles
• HRIS (ADP) data accuracy, workflows, and system maintenance
