About The Position

The Payroll Clerk is responsible for processing all elements of payroll. This includes but is not limited to payroll reports, payroll corrections, calculations, timecard reviews. Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old and have the ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to the applicable statute, rules and regulations.
  • High school diploma. GED, or relevant experience
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Guest service oriented.
  • Ability to handle numerous duties simultaneously.
  • Willing to work as a team member.
  • Ability to do multiple tasks.
  • Patience.
  • Can adapt under stress, flexible.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals and other related documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries from other Team Members or guests.
  • Fluency in English required.
  • Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Ability to compute complex mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to decipher various reports and maintains reports upon request with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors and maintains the timely issuance of property payroll checks and assure the resolution of payroll related problems.
  • Preforms daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly payroll reporting to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensures timely payment of employees taxes.
  • Reviews all requests for disbursement for proper authenticity and documentation.
  • Ensures the distribution of paychecks or arranges direct deposit programs.
  • Reviews and audit payroll records for accuracy and updates.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.
