About The Position

Supports the execution of payroll operations as part of the People Operations Total Rewards team by performing transactional payroll tasks, maintaining employee data, and delivering timely reporting and analytics. Serves as the first line of support for payroll inquiries and provides backup payroll processing as needed, contributing to accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll operations that enable organizational goals. Position Responsibilities Payroll and Reporting Serve as the first point of contact for payroll-related inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses to team members and leaders, and escalating complex issues as needed Support the end-to-end payroll process through transactional activities, including data entry, updates, and ongoing system maintenance within payroll and HRIS systems Accurately enter, maintain, and audit employee payroll data, ensuring compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations Assist in processing payroll-related transactions such as garnishments, tax updates (W-4), direct deposit changes, and other pay adjustments Partner with Payroll Specialists and People Operations to support benefits, short-term disability (STD), and leave of absence (LOA/FMLA) payroll coordination, documentation, and reporting Provide backup support for Payroll Specialists, including assisting with or processing payroll during absences or peak periods Fulfill standard and ad-hoc payroll and workforce reporting requests, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery Support preparation of regulatory reporting and compliance data, including AAP, OFCCP, EEO-1, and VETS-100 reporting Maintain documentation and tracking for employment verifications and unemployment requests Help maintain data accuracy and integrity across payroll and HRIS systems through regular audits and validation checks Support basic analysis of payroll and workforce data to identify trends, discrepancies, or opportunities for improvement Assist in monitoring key payroll metrics and escalating variances or issues to the appropriate team members Collaborate with People Operations and cross-functional teams to support payroll processes and enhance team member experience Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and standard operating procedures within payroll operations Support ongoing efforts to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance across payroll and reporting processes Proactively solve problems and turn new ideas into action Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, accounting, finance, organizational development or equivalent experience in similar field
  • Experience with HRIS, Ceridian Dayforce, ADP, Workday or related HR and payroll software
  • Technical and creative skills to pull data sets, compare data, display data for easy understanding
  • Expertise in quantitative business analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and draw inferences from data and reports.
  • Ability to use independent judgment to manage and impart confidential information.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of conduct and ethics in all employee and guest relations
  • Highly organized

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • People Operations experience working in an environment with a combination of exempt/non-exempt/seasonal employees
  • HRIS implementation experience
  • Florida notary
  • Bilingual (Spanish)

Responsibilities
