About The Position

The Payroll Coordinator is a knowledgeable professional who is responsible for ensuring accuracy of timesheets.

Requirements

  • Proficient with payroll systems, (Dayforce a plus).
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; BSc/BA in business, accounting or relevant field is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Superior customer service skills, and excellent telephone interaction.

Nice To Haves

  • BSc/BA in business, accounting or relevant field is a plus.
  • Proficient with payroll systems, (Dayforce a plus).

Responsibilities

  • Collect, verify, and input timekeeping data, including overtime, bonuses, and commissions, to calculate gross and net wages.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local tax laws.
  • Ensure garnishments are entered into the HRIS System.
  • Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors.
  • Prepare reports for upper management, finance department etc.
