About The Position

As a Levy Payroll/Staffing Supervisor, you will be responsible for processing all payroll related inquiries and discrepancies with a minor focus in having staffing responsibilities. Results are achieved by implementing effective internal controls and efficient processes, through leadership and supervisor skills, and by living our visions and values

Requirements

  • Must be able to reach, lift, stoop, bend and perform extensive standing and walking (including stairs) throughout shift
  • May be required to perform diverse physical tasks
  • Possible hazards include, but are not limited to; slips, trips, falls, burns, cuts and strains
  • Must be flexible with schedule, able to work different shifts
  • Ability to use hands in using office equipment, including the computer system
  • Close vision and focus capabilities to view computer screen and company documents

Responsibilities

  • Supports company initiatives within the department
  • Has strong attention to detail
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients, guests, subcontractors, not-for-profits and Levy team members
  • Maintains positive relationships with internal and external guests, and ensures prompt response and resolution to all guest inquiries
  • Acts as a liaison with team, including partner’s operational team, Levy team and other areas as needed to ensure efficient operational performance
  • Maintains accurate and efficient filing of financial archive files and data
  • Completes all projects in a timely and professional manner
  • Thoroughly and accurately uses applicable Levy systems (OMS)
  • Ensures required department reports are completed and information is compiled at month end closing
  • Ensures team members adhere to Levy Company guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbook
  • Completes assigned objectives to achieve financial goals
  • Manages employee sick and vacation requests
  • Ensures all payroll information is accurate and submitted on a timely basis
  • Clearly communicates financial results to management on a regular basis
  • Ensures Core Signature standards are maintained for all accounting functions
  • Provides accurate and targeted financial analysis as requested
  • Processes all weekly union dues and deductions
  • Staffs department to meet operational needs
  • Uses all performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team
  • Displays a positive attitude towards team members
  • Promotes a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale
