PC Support Technician - Evernorth - On-Site

As part of Evernorth Health Services, this role supports CarepathRx within our Pharmacy and Care Delivery organization. Our team focuses on specialty pharmacy and infusion services in partnership with hospitals and health systems. If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic understanding of PC components and their operation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with patience and professionalism.
- Ability to work 3 week rotational schedule: 1 week Maitland office, 1 week Longwood, FL office, 1 week phone support (work from home or office) plus ~1 day travel to Tampa, FL office location 1x/quarter.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a help desk or technical support role.
- Familiarity with imaging PCs, mobile device management, and VPN configuration.
- College degree in a related field.
Responsibilities
- Provide timely and professional technical support for computer systems, hardware, software, and mobile devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT incidents, acting as the first point of contact for users.
- Maintain and upgrade user PCs, including imaging, configuration, and software installation.
- Support onboarding of new users, ensuring seamless technology setup and access.
- Monitor and respond to support requests, managing tickets through resolution.
- Maintain inventory of equipment, software, and user licenses.
- Assist with mobile device support and application management.
- Install and configure VPN access for approved users.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve system performance and user experience.
- Collaborate with IT team members to deliver outstanding service and drive continuous improvement.
