PCB Design Engineer – Printed Circuit & Electronics Development Join our innovative electronics team and play a key role in designing next‑generation lighting and electronic modules. We’re looking for an ECAD expert who thrives in a collaborative engineering environment and enjoys transforming complex concepts into robust, manufacturable PCB solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong background in ECAD design across various board technologies and complexities.
  • Hands‑on experience with PCB library creation and maintenance.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing constraints, PWB vendor capabilities, and high-quality layout practices.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic engineering environment and contribute creative, reliable design solutions.
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering - Electronics is preferred
  • 4-5 years of experience in Design
  • Expert proficiency with ECAD tools, including: Altium Designer CATIA CAM software
  • Familiarity with automotive communication protocols, specifically LIN and CAN.

Responsibilities

  • Lead ECAD design for single‑sided, double‑sided, flexible, and multi‑layer printed wiring boards (PWBs), ensuring compliance with electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, EMC, and supplier specifications.
  • Create detailed electrical schematics using OPmobility tools—leveraging existing libraries or developing new circuit designs in partnership with our engineering team.
  • Design circuits involving LED drivers, headlamp control modules, matrix drivers, DC/DC–SMPS converters, microcontrollers, and LED arrays.
  • Apply and manage PWB vendor design rules; implement these rules within ECAD tools and maintain an up‑to‑date rules database.
  • Own library management, including symbol creation, PCB footprint development, and continuous improvement of library quality.
  • Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure efficient panelization, board utilization, and optimized manufacturability.
